Everything we knew from books we were able to see up close: the art, the sculptures, the paintings and the grandeur of the gladiators. After long walks, coming back to Fabrizio and Monica's lovely apartment meant finding a welcoming, comfortable place designed in every detail. The location also made all the difference: close to public transport, a fruit shop, restaurants and affordable minimarkets. Fabrizio and Monica welcomed us with warmth, attention and generosity, making our experience in Rome even more special. We left with unforgettable images and, above all, gratitude for the warmth with which we were welcomed.”
